At BAM, we believe stories move the world. We also believe that the most impactful stories are diverse stories.
For a lot of the companies we work with, it’s not just a catchphrase. They’re rolling up their sleeves to help fight COVID-19. Given all the heavy headlines, we’re sharing positive news about how our BAMf clients making a difference:
Cut, an online channel for storytelling, is catering its content to the gravity of the pandemic. The series, "Grocery Shopping Around the World During Quarantine," invites subscribers to share their stories about how they're getting what they need while following local laws.
Doing good with data
Brivo, a cloud-based security platform, is sharing its data to reveal how COVID-19 has impacted office and business traffic. Those are important indicators for our economic activity, so the company chose to make this information public.
Xeneta, a platform that compares international freight data, is publishing free weekly market brief videos. Because of COVID-19's tremendous impact on the global supply chain, this is one of the ways they’re pivoting to help.
DispatchHealth, who provides tech-enabled in-home health care, partnered with local food banks to feed homebound seniors or anyone who is food insecure. One nurse’s 16-year-old son also wanted to help in the fight against coronavirus. So, he printed 3-D face shields at home to give to health care workers.
Fortem Technologies, an airspace defense and security drone company, used its 3-D printers to make the N-95 masks that are so needed. A donation went to the Provo Police Department, helping hundreds of first responders stay safe. Because there’s still a shortage, Fortem is steadily making those masks until the demand is met.
Tiny Organics, the plant-based, sustainable baby food company, is helping the Food Bank for New York City during the pandemic. When online shoppers use the code FoodForAll, they will get 10% off their order, and Tiny will donate 10% to the food bank.
Raken, a cloud-based platform for contractors, launched a resource page to help their customers navigate their businesses during COVID-19. The page is updated daily with industry news, resources, and best practices. Raken also launched #KindnessIsContagious, a campaign that aims to spread kindness by donating one meal to Kitchens for Good for each social share.
