Case Study

CareerArc

CareerArc is a HR technology company that provides social recruiting tools to companies and employees across a variety of industries.

THE CHALLENGE

As startup in a crowded sector, CareerArc needed to stand out and grab the attention of potential customers by demonstrating knowledge of employee experience and trends in the hiring marketplace including pain points based on the current climate.

THE GOAL

CareerArc engaged BAM for help to increase awareness of its offerings to its target audiences.

THE SOLUTION

The team worked with Harris Poll to craft a customized survey distributed to over 2,000 Americans to secure proprietary data surrounding layoff anxiety and layoff preparedness among various demographics. BAM utilized the final statistics and a CareerArc branded report to reach out to media and leverage timeliness of recession fears and related national media coverage.

- LINDA SOUZA, CMO, CAREERARC

"I've been extremely pleased with my relationship with BAM. I think they've been a great partner — very fast to get up to speed and start delivering value, and far exceeded what our expectations were."

THE RESULTS

BAM secured 14 feature media placements as a result of the survey media strategy alone. The coverage spanned human resources trade publications and national mainstream outlets including Yahoo! Finance, The Motley Fool, Forbes, and more. The formal CareerArc study was linked in many coverage articles as reporters waited to post coverage until the report was live. This drove further traction and traffic to the company website to help bolster brand awareness.
