Laura Nickel has over 15 years of experience working in all areas of public relations and communications, including marketing, social media management, crisis and reputation management, and media training. She focuses on deep tech, including satellites, IoT, cloud, edge computing, robotics, space, machine learning and artificial intelligence in B2B and B2C environments.
Laura has guided agencies and staff to implement traditional public relations, social media marketing, national events, speaker’s bureau, and overall brand strategy. She has also managed corporate media relations, including developing tech consumer-facing materials, brand events and national campaigns. Laura has executed campaign product releases and internal company-wide announcements for national organizations.
I took my then 6-year-old daughter to New York City for our winter birthdays. We did Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and Frozen on Broadway. It was a little crazy to take a young kid on a cold city trip, but we had a blast exploring the city, getting lost, and trying the pizza at every deli.
During the pandemic, we found every forest preserve our state has to offer due to boredom and trying to stay safe! Now “forest walks” are a staple in our weekend plans.
