Laura Nickel is a Director of Integrated Communications at BAM. She leads BAM’s client account teams to ensure overall strategy and PR programming is implemented successfully. Her experience includes working in all areas of public relations and communications, including marketing, social media management, crisis and reputation management, and media training.
Prior to BAM, she managed corporate media relations, including the development of consumer-facing materials, brand events, and national campaigns. Laura has executed product releases and internal company-wide announcements for national organizations including U.S. Cellular, Career Education Corporation, and Wilson Sporting Goods. She has led brand reputation by overseeing crisis communications that align with media, legal, tech, regulatory, and marketing needs.
Laura holds two B.A. degrees in Graphic Design and English from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
