Shayna is an Account Manager at BAM. She is responsible for the development of public relations strategies, incorporating media relations, executive thought leadership, awards submissions, and event outreach into comprehensive plans that result in positive, tangible results for clients. From cultivating media relationships to securing needle-moving stories to ideating those bigger-picture/out-of-the-box ideas, Shayna uses her creativity, media savviness, and deep understanding of the startup space to deliver results to B2B and B2C clients across industries.
Before BAM, Shayna worked in the lifestyle and hospitality PR world, where she worked with hotels, restaurants, and consumer brands, helping them tell their stories through media relations, thought leadership, and award campaigns.
Favorite hobby
I am an avid equestrian. Since I started riding at five years old, horses have always been a huge part of my life. I currently ride competitively as an eventer, which involves competing across three different disciplines: dressage, cross-country, and show jumping.
Fun fact
All the tattoos on my left arm are in reference to some of my favorite songs and musicians. I’ve already dedicated the entirety of my right arm to my favorite books and characters, and I can’t wait to get started!
