Michael is the Senior Director of Media Strategy at BAM. He is responsible for the daily management, execution of deliverables, and overall direct success of each account he leads. He partners with each client to clearly understand their mission to enhance brand visibility through earned media coverage. In addition, he also leads the media strategy team, which partners with existing account teams to enhance media coverage and assist with media relations strategy. He was recognized as one of the top twenty rising stars in public relations by Business Insider in 2022.

His experience spans 15 years in PR with brands in B2B and B2C technology, lifestyle, consumer goods, fashion, and entertainment industries. Before BAM, Michael led the global communications efforts at American Express Global Business Travel. Previously, he was the North American PR Manager at HTC, where he developed and led the media relations launch of HTC Vive and numerous smartphone launches. He was also the North American PR Manager for Swatch, where he executed the national launch of SISTEM51, the world's first mechanical watch with 51 pieces.

Favorite hobby:

My favorite hobby has everything to do with the outdoors; whether it’s traveling and experiencing new cultures and cuisines or playing sports such as baseball, football, basketball or soccer, it’s one of my favorite things to do daily. Being outside provides clarity and enables me to think about or re-evaluate my goals. It’s a mind-clearing and freeing experience that gives me answers I seek but may be too close to during the work day.
